therefore encourage habits that battle childhood obesity
To educate children on charitable giving and good causes
To reward children with collectable achievement medals
To enable children that may be underachievers at school to gain
confidence through sport
To educate parents and provide them with a challenge they can do in
their own time with their children

I believe through our challenges we can get every child in the UK on the path to a healthy and happy life. I couldn’t have done this by myself so meet my team of super passionate, amazing humans that have given their time and their ears in the name of The Great British Children’s Challenge.

Dr Sophie Harvey
Sophie has a passion for initiatives that challenge childhood obesity, she sees first hand the impact it has on children’s welfare and also the knock on effects.
Cat Smith
Cat has worked in the NHS for 23 years, she is extremely passionate about health and well being in children. She’s our technology and social media wizard.
Nicky Dalton
Nicky is a fantastically inspirational lady, she teaches sport at Repton school in Derbyshire. Her belief in The Great British Children’s Challenge has been clear from the early stages.
Emma Rogers
Emma has previously been head of international retail at Speedo and has a passion for sport and all the positives it brings to children’s lives. She’s super organised and runs a tight ship.
